A two-vehicle crash on I-75 southbound near SR-56 resulted in one fatality Tuesday evening.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a 25-year-old man driving a southbound Infiniti Q50 lost control of his vehicle,crossed the median, and struck a guardrail. The Infiniti then re-entered the travel lanes, where it was struck by a Ford E250 driven by a 74-year-old man.
The driver of the Ford was transported to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Infiniti was not injured.
