Passenger dies after collision with Tesla in Pasco County intersection: Florida Highway Patrol

A woman is dead following a crash at a Pasco County intersection Friday night, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

Around 9:19 p.m., a 75-year-old New Port Richey man was traveling southbound on Little Road with his passenger, a 73-year-old New Port Richey woman.

At the same time, a 45-year-old Osprey man in a Tesla Model 3 was traveling northbound on Little Road.

The FHP said while at the intersection of Heritage Lakes Boulevard, the New Port Richey man made a left turn in the path of the Tesla, resulting in a collision.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries.

The New Port Richey woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead, troopers said.
