Passenger seriously injured after truck jackknifes, crashes into trees: Florida Highway Patrol

A truck towing a trailer, with an improperly loaded CAT skid steer, crashed Monday on I-75, the Florida Highway Patrol announced.

According to troopers, a Dodge Ram 3500 with a trailer was traveling southbound on I-75 near milepost 284 in Pasco County when it began to jackknife.

The driver of the Dodge Ram lost control of the vehicle and entered the outside shoulder, hitting several trees.

The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old man from Miami suffered minor injuries along with two passengers, a 29-year-old man and a 66-year-old man also from Miami.

Another passenger of the Dodge Ram, a 40-year-old man from Miami suffered serious injuries.
