One person is dead after a vehicle accident in Escambia County on Wednesday night, according to Escambia County Fire Rescue.
The pedestrian was hit around 9 p.m. on Highway 98 and Blue Angel Parkway, near HCA Florida Perdido Bay Emergency.
After EMS crews evaluated them, they were pronounced dead on scene shortly after.
Florida Highway Patrol has the area blocked off for the time being.
