One person is dead following a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in West Palm Beach.
On Saturday night a Toyota Venza was traveling southbound in the center lane of South Military Trail and approaching the 4100 block.
A report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office notes the pedestrian attempted to cross South Military Trail near the 4100 block from east to west.
According to the report, the pedestrian walked into the path of the Toyota. After the crash, the Toyota stopped at the scene.
The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center where he was pronounced dead early Sunday morning.
The driver of the Toyota did not sustain any injuries.
