Pensacola man killed in hit-and-run in Escambia County, suspect sought

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Pensacola man is dead after a hit-and-run crash in Escambia County on Sunday, according to FHP.

Troopers say the crash occurred around 9:25 p.m. on Fairfield Drive and Matthew Lane when an unknown suspect was driving a possible black Audi eastbound on Fairfield Drive in the inside lane.

The Pensacola man was walking with a bicycle in the same lane, according to troopers.

The front of the sedan struck the man and the bicycle he was walking with, according to FHP.
