TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A person was hit by a train Friday night in Tampa, according to a CSX spokesperson.
The person was hit on tracks near North Florida Avenue, the spokesperson said.
Video taken at about 8 p.m. by a News Channel 8 viewer showed the CSX train stopped in the intersection near East Busch Boulevard.
CSX said there were no injuries to any of its crewmembers. The condition of the person hit was not immediately available.
There were two crew members on the train, which was transporting mixed freight, according to CSX.
