A pickup truck flipped over the I-110 barrier wall in Pensacola Thursday morning and crashed in a grass field below.

The driver — a 19-year-old Pensacola woman — sustained only minor injuries and was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Facility for observation, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. on I-110 north near mile marker 5. The truck truck fell approximately 40 feet from the bridge to the grass field below along Maxwell Street.

“[The driver] stated the truck hydroplaned and hit the barrier wall, then went over the wall,” FHP says in a release.

Pictures show heavy damage to the truck’s front end, as well as damage to the back.

No one else was injured.
