Authorities are investigating after a Cessna 310 plane crashed Friday morning in Boca Raton.

It happened around 10:20 a.m. in the 1900 block of Military Trail.

Several roads are closed in the area near Interstate 95 and the Boca Raton Airport.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, three people were on board the plane that was headed to Tallahassee International Airport.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are handling the investigation.

There is no further information at this time.
