An Amtrak train collided with a person on Sunday in Opa-locka.
Police officers reported finding the person dead on the tracks after the impact shortly before 12:15 p.m., near Ali-Baba Avenue and Burlington Street.
Police officers closed the area to traffic in both directions during the response. The Miami-Dade Police Department’s homicide bureau was investigating the death.
