Police investigate crash between vehicle and motorcycle in Riviera Beach

The Riviera Beach Police Department (RBPD) is investigating a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle.

According to Serena Spates, spokesperson for the Riviera Beach Police Department, the crash happened on Thursday at around 5:55 p.m. on President Barack Obama Highway at the intersection of West 37th Street.

RBPD officers and Riviera Beach Fire Rescue (RBF) responded to the scene. Upon arrival, Riviera Beach law enforcement found a motorcyclist who appeared to be seriously injured. The motorcyclist was quickly rushed to a medical treatment facility where he is listed as being in critical condition, RBPD says.

The Riviera Beach Police Traffic Homicide Investigators are investigating the scene of the crash, police say.

Riviera Beach Police say the identities of those involved are being withheld pending the notification of family members of the motorcycle driver.
