Police look to ID suspect after man shot in Flagler Beach

A man was shot in the arm early Saturday in Flagler Beach by a suspect who has not yet been identified, according to police.

Officers responded around 1:30 a.m. to a shooting reported out of the 300 block of North Oceanshore Boulevard, the Flagler Beach Police Department said in a news release.

The victim — described as a Palm Coast man in his 50s — left the scene and was said to be in stable condition at the hospital at last check, police said.

Investigators say they’re working with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit and have so far determined there was one shooter who fired a single shot. Work is currently underway to identify the shooter, as well as several other people who were in the vicinity of the shooting, according to Acting Chief Lance Blanchette.
