OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Police said they have charged a man with attempted murder following a stabbing in Kissimmee.
Investigators said they believe Luis Rafael Lugo, 19, stabbed his father with a large kitchen knife at their Creekmont Lane home early Saturday morning.
According to a charging affidavit, Lugo stabbed his father in the neck and back seven times.
After talking to witnesses and collecting evidence, detectives decided to charge Lugo with attempted first degree murder.
Lugo was booked into Osceola County Jail and is being held on a no bond status.
