Police in Miami Gardens are investigating a shooting.
It happened just before 6 p.m. Wednesday along the 4000 block of Northwest 192nd Street.
According to police, officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, authorities found a man who had been shot.
The victim was taken by helicopter to a local hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
Police said the shooting suspect, identified as the victim’s uncle, fled the scene but was apprehended by officers shortly after.
