A police officer was involved in a traffic crash in Miami on Wednesday.
It happened in the area of Northwest 53rd Street and 17th Avenue at approximately 4:30 p.m.
According to Miami police, the officer who was involved in the crash suffered a small laceration and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The driver in the second vehicle did not report any injuries, police said.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
