Police: Teen shot in Miami-Dade; no arrests made

Police in Miami-Dade County are investigating a shooting that injured a teenager.

It happened on Tuesday night in the area of the Cutler Manor Apartments along 10000 block of Southwest 216th Street.

According to police, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert and found a 17-year-old who had been shot.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and rushed the teen to Jackson South Medical Center in stable condition, authorities said.

Police said there was no subject information to share, and that the investigation was ongoing.
