According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, a traffic crash shut down U.S. 90 near Laird Road in Mossy Head on Tuesday around 12:00 p.m.
A 58-year-old male from Crestview was driving on U.S. 90 in the westbound lane when he drove off the road and onto the westbound shoulder. Officials said he overcorrected and went into the eastbound lane, rolling over multiple times.
This resulted in his vehicle colliding with three others initially driving in the eastbound lanes, FHP said.
A 68-year-old woman from Ponce De Leon sustained critical injuries and has been transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Hospital. All of the other drivers sustained minor injuries.
