Rainy weather likely a factor in rollover crash, authorities say

Amidst the rain and slippery roads, a single-vehicle rollover crash prompted emergency responders to highlight the critical need for caution during inclement weather.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) stated that they responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at Jog and Hypoluxo Road.

Firefighters worked for approximately 10 minutes to safely extricate the driver from the vehicle who was then transported to a local hospital, the report stated.

PBCFR noted that, though it remains unclear if the rainy weather directly caused the accident, the wet conditions likely contributed to the crash.

Authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution during this week. If possible, residents are encouraged to stay home and avoid the roads until conditions improve.
