Report: Couple arrested for shooting man multiple times in Escambia County

A couple was arrested Sunday for allegedly shooting a man multiple times in Escambia County in April.

Levarion Howard, 43, and Alexis Dwiggins-Edison, 34, are both charged with attempted murder. Howard is also charged with battery.

The incident happened on April 11 in the area of Wiggins Avenue.

According to the arrest report, the victim was at his camp when Dwiggins-Edison arrived and confronted him about their past relationship.

The report states she eventually pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times. Howard then approached with a gun and started shooting at the victim.

According to the report, deputies arrived to find the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital and survived.

Howard is being held in Escambia County Jail on $1,000,500 bond, while Dwiggins-Edison is being held on $250,000 bond.
