Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is investigating a residential structure fire that happened Tuesday night.
HCFR responded to a call about smoke and flames from a single apartment on the second floor. Arriving at the scene, HCFR confirmed the apartment and the horse barn below was engulfed in smoke and flames, according to HCFR.
About 30 minutes into the incident, a part of the roof collapsed which quickly followed by the structure fully collapsing.
HCFR reported two dogs passed away in the fire, but no other injuries were reported.
