State troopers say no children were hurt when a school bus collided with an object on the road in Columbia County.
FHP troopers say a Suwannee County School District bus was traveling south on US Highway 24 around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, with 24 children on board.
A pick-up truck hauling a trailer was in front of the bus when a water heater fell off the trailer.
The bus driver steered to the right and struck it with the bus’ right tire.
No one in either vehicle was hurt in the crash.
