LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) – A semi-truck crash on Interstate 75 in Columbia County caused delays on Friday afternoon.
Online records show Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to a crash with injuries just after 1 p.m. on the interstate at mile marker 428, north of the U.S. Highway 90 exit.
Fire rescue crews say the truck driver veered off the roadway and wrecked. Then the truck, hauling Christmas decorations, caught on fire.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. This developing story will be updated as more information is learned.
