The Shands Bridge is back open after being shut down due to a crash and a fuel spill, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue.

Florida Highway Patrol said a 44-year-old woman driving a pickup truck was traveling east on the bridge and a tractor-trailer was traveling west.

Officials said the woman failed to maintain a single lane and the front left fender struck the left front fender of the tractor-trailer.

The woman was transported to a local trauma center in stable condition by Clay County Fire Rescue and the driver of the tractor-trailer didn’t have any injuries.

The investigation is still pending.
