St. Lucie County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire Friday night, thankfully leaving no injuries.
The fire station responded to the fire at what turned out to be an abandoned residence at the 600 block of North 9th Street around 9:30 p.m.
Firefighters had to be defensive due to the intensity of the fire and the home’s condition.
They quickly were able to bring the fire under control.
No one was hurt.
