A driver was injured after crashing an SUV into a tree along Country Club Boulevard in Cape Coral Friday morning.
According to the Cape Coral Police Department, the driver was taken to the hospital.
The front of the gray SUV was crushed in front of the homes along SE 39th Terrace.
Debris was scattered across the road.
A mailbox and sign were knocked over. Firefighters were at the scene working to clear the crash.
First responders were treating someone at the scene.
