A police standoff at a Fort Lauderdale hotel ended with two robbery suspects in custody on Thursday.
According to police, officers responded to the Relax Inn, located at 1851 S Federal Highway, after receiving reports of a robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim, who they said suffered minor injuries but did not require treatment.
The victim told officers that the suspects took off into a nearby hotel room, and barricaded themselves inside.
SWAT officers and a negotiator responded, and eventually a man and woman were taken out of the room and into custody.
Police haven’t provided any information on the robbery or identified either of the suspects.
