A teen motorcyclist was killed and his passenger critically injured Saturday evening after colliding with a Boynton Beach firetruck.
According to the traffic report, the firetruck was traveling northbound on S. Congress Ave in Boynton Beach around 7:30 p.m. with its light and sirens activated.
As it approached the 1325 block, a motorcycle traveling southbound driven by 18-year-old JC of Boynton Beach was traveling in the center lane when the firetruck turned left colliding with C.
The firetruck struck the Vitacci motorcycle ejecting both C and his 13-year-old passenger, JA of Belle Glade, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).
C was pronounced deceased at the scene, and Alveus was transported to Delray Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition, per deputies.
