The St. Cloud Fire Rescue Department said three people were injured after a fire broke out at an apartment in the city.
Firefighters responded to a fire in the garage of a unit in a quad-plex apartment on Christina Lee Lane just before 10 p.m. Tuesday. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire before it spread to the living area or adjoining apartments.
Two adults and a child were transported to local hospitals due to the fire. One of the adults, a man, suffered serious burns from the fire. The other adult and the child sustained minor injuries.
Andrew Sullivan with the St. Cloud Fire Rescue Department said the apartment is still habitable, and none of the other apartment units were damaged.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office was called in to investigate the fire.
