A pickup truck crashed into a home in Escambia County on Wednesday afternoon, according to Escambia Fire Rescue.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver — a 54-year-old man from Molino — was seriously injured. The driver ran off the roadway, hitting a ditch that sent his truck airborne. His truck went inside a home near the intersection of Sunshine Hill Road and Molino Road.
EMS transported the driver and passenger to a hospital, according to FHP. The passenger’s medical status is unclear.
FHP says the crash is still under investigation. No further information was released.
