Two injured in Okeechobee park shooting after argument escalates

OKEECHOBEE, Fla. (CBS12) — Gunfire broke out in Okeechobee after a heated argument early Saturday morning, leaving two people injured, deputies said.

The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) stated that they had received a report of gunshots after an argument turned violent between two people.

According to officials, the shooting took place in the Douglas Brown Park area, located off Northeast 13th Avenue.
