Police are looking for the person responsible for shooting two men outside of a nightclub early Friday morning.
The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) said at 2:10 a.m., officers responded to theCleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital after staff received two patients with gunshot wounds.
Following an initial investigation, police said the men had just exited VYBZ Lounge— on NW Courtyard Circle— and entered their vehicle. That’s when someone in an older dark-colored sedan reportedly fired into the victim’s vehicle, striking the front seat passenger and rear seat passenger.
The driver was not injured and drove the two victims to the hospital, while the suspect fled in the sedan, PSLPD said.
Police said thetwo gunshot victims—a 45-year-old man and a 25-year-old man— received non-life-threatening injuries and were later discharged from the hospital.
This incident appears to be a targeted act and there is no immediate threat to the community, according to police.
