Tyler Perry’s Studio President killed in Homosassa plane crash: report

A small engine-plane crash in Homosassa on Friday night that killed a man was reportedly Tyler Perry’s Studio President, according to TMZ.

S M, who was the president and manager of general operations at Tyler Perry Studios since 2016, was reportedly the pilot of the single-seater aircraft.

TMZ said M is survived by his wife and three kids. He was only 62.

The crash occurred on West White Dogwood Drive near US-98 around 9 p.m., closing the intersection of Highway 19 and Longfellow Street on Friday night.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating this crash.

No further details have been released.
