An unborn baby died as a result of a crash Sunday morning in Hillsborough County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 57-year-old Valrico man in a Toyota traveling east on SR-574 crashed into a Suzuki motorcycle at a red light around 7:13 a.m.
On the bike was the driver, a 35-year-old Plant City man, and a 37-year-old pregnant Plant City woman.
FHP said the driver and their 56-year-old passenger in the Toyota were not injured in the crash.
However, the driver of the motorcycle suffered minor injuries, while his pregnant passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials said she was taken to a nearby hospital where her unborn child died as a result of the collision.
