Things were heating up on Valentine’s Day for firefighters in Martin County.
Martin County Fire Rescue said at 8:30 a.m. firefighters responded to a car engulfed in flames on 33rd Street in Palm City.
Photos taken at the scene show firefighters working on containing the flames while plumes of smoke fill the air.
Crew said they were able to extinguish the fire, but the car was listed as a total loss. MCFR said a nearby truck sustained exposure damage from the fire.
