All westbound lanes on I-4 in the Kissimmee area are blocked due to a vehicle fire, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Reports show troopers were dispatched to the scene around 10:59 a.m. near mile marker 60.

Troopers say preliminary details show a 2021 Chevy Silverado hauling a travel trailer was traveling westbound on I-4, west of State Road 429 (mile marker 60), when the fire started.

Reports show the driver was able to pull over onto the outside shoulder of the road and exit their vehicle.

Officers say the car then became engulfed in flames.

Troopers state the two people in the car were not injured.

Traffic is being diverted off at mile marker 60, and currently the emergency shoulder is open while crews clean up, officers say.

Troopers say the incident remains under investigation.

This is a developing story.
