Newly released video shows the moments police found a pregnant mother stabbed to death in Hallandale Beach.
Police have since said the father of her children confessed to the crime.
Back on Nov. 12, Hallandale Beach police received a call from a day care saying that two children, ages 8 and 9, were not picked up by their mother.
Body camera footage exclusively obtained by Local 10 News shows officers arriving at the home of D P Clater that day.
Fire rescue crews were also on scene and soon a swarm of Hallandale Beach police officers arrived.
They eventually broke down the door, and inside they found P C, who according to sources was stabbed numerous times in a bathroom.
Her next-door neighbor said she knew there were domestic abuse disputes going on between P C and her husband.
She said neighbors had suggested for her to leave her abusive husband, but she didn’t want anyone involved.
According to detectives, P C was found with severe injuries and she was also 20 weeks pregnant.
The father of the kids and her husband, V C, was also found unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital and has since been taken to jail.
On Sunday, C stood before a judge. He was given no bond and will remain behind bars.
