Walton County Fire Rescue responded to vehicle fire on I-10

Walton County Fire Rescue was on the scene of a vehicle fire near mile marker 82 just a few miles west of DeFuniak Springs exit I-10 on Saturday.

Crews were reportedly on the scene of the fire around 9 a.m.

Fire officials said both eastbound lanes of I-10 were temporarily shut down for several hours.

No injuries were reported during this incident.

According to fire officials, traffic was diverted at the Mossy Head and DeFuniak Springs exits causing delays until firefighters knocked down the flames.
