WATCH: Taco Bell tantrum turns ugly as customer hurls food and profanities at worker

An argument over a Taco Bell refund request allegedly ended with a customer throwing food and spitting on a drive-thru worker.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) said 24-year-old AK was arrested on March 18 at the Taco Bell at 191 SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard.

According to the arrest affidavit, K was causing a disturbance at the drive-thru over wanting a refund.

Police said after initially leaving the scene, he returned. The argument became increasingly aggressive when K began using profanities and racial slurs.

An independent witness provided a partial recording of the altercation, capturing food thrown between the K and the employee. The employee allegedly dropped the bag of food out of the drive-thru window and then K picked up the food and threw it at the closed window.

PSLPD said as the argument progressed, K told the employee to come outside where he spit on the victim, which landed on her cheek.

The video and statements from Taco Bell employees corroborated the events described in the affidavit. Officers were given K’s license plate information, and he was tracked to a residence at Nassau Lane and taken into custody for battery.
