A man who was behind the wheel of a deadly vehicle crash will spend more than a decade behind bars.
N T. G plead guilty on Monday to six counts of vehicular homicide stemming from a crash on Jan. 27, 2022.
G was sentenced to 12 years in state prison followed by seven years of probation. His driver’s license will be revoked for three years. G will also have to complete 800 hours of community service, attend a victim impact panel and complete a 12-hour driving course.
G, who was 17 years old at the time of the crash, is accused of rear-ending a vehicle that had six people inside on State Road 7 in Delray Beach.
WPBF 25 News previously reported G’s vehicle was traveling 151 mph, and no brakes were applied before the crash.
Five people were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash while a sixth person was pronounced dead at Delray Medical Center.
