Wild video: Charlotte County deputy flips patrol car in median while responding to call

On Monday afternoon, a Charlotte County deputy was involved in a rollover crash along S. McCall Road at Gillot Boulevard.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, the deputy was driving in the median to avoid traffic on their way to an emergency call for service. The deputy hit a bump, and the vehicle flipped.

CCSO said the deputy was OK and no other vehicles were involved.
