The Treasure Coast woman convicted in the hit-and-run crash that killed a 10-year-old girl in Fort Pierce was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
On Jan. 25, a jury found Arianna Colon guilty of leaving the scene of a crash involving death and of vehicular homicide.
Colon hit and killed Yaceny Rodriguez Gonzalez, who was headed to her school bus that morning.
