North Miami Beach police are investigating a Tuesday morning crash that left a female pedestrian dead.
According to Sgt. Maria Pinillos, the crash occurred in the area of Northeast 163rd Street and Biscayne Boulevard.
The woman was apparently trying to cross the street when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Traffic lanes in the area were closed during the investigation but have since reopened.
No other details were immediately released.
