Incident happened in area of Babcock Street, San Soving Street
Police in Palm Bay said they are investigating a possible hit-and-run death of a woman, according to a news release.
Police said they received 911 calls about a person who may have been hit by a vehicle in the area of Babcock Street and San Soving Street on Monday around 9:50 p.m.
According to the release, arriving officers found a woman on the roadway – later identified as Darlene Stanley – who was pronounced dead on scene.
Police said they are investigating the incident as a possible hit-and-run.
