A woman in her 20s was shot by two juveniles while trying to break up a fight in an Orange County neighborhood Thursday night, deputies said.
The incident reportedly happened shortly before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Livewood Oaks Drive and Redwood Oaks Drive near Pine Hills.
The woman told deputies she was trying to separate the parties when two of them pulled out guns and started shooting, officials said. She was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office did a helicopter and K9 unit search for the suspects but was unable to locate them.
