Woman urinates on victim’s leg after stabbing, robbing him in Pompano Beach, deputies say

A Broward County judge ordered a woman held without bond Tuesday after deputies accused her of robbing and stabbing a fellow homeless man in Pompano Beach.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies said JDM, 48, urinated on the victim during the crime.

An arrest report states the robbery happened Monday afternoon in a wooded area near Andrews Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard.

According to BSO, the victim told deputies that he was at his tent, which is right next to M’s, speaking to M’s boyfriend.

The report states “the side of his tent collapsed” and he “felt a few strikes to his head.”

“As he exited the tent, M attacked him with a multibladed purple tool and a 12-inch piece of pipe,” a deputy wrote. “She attempted to slash him with the blades present, in an overhead motion which caused a few marks on his upper left back and a slight laceration to his right hand. (The victim) was able to grab the tool and pipe from her possession.”

After the victim grabbed the weapons, deputies said M “grabbed his leg near his waistline and urinated on his leg,” then “fled the scene with her boyfriend.”

Deputies said the victim noticed his cellphone was missing and said M was the only one who could have taken it.

They said he walked over to the Wawa at 1 N. Andrews Ave. and asked the manager to call 911. The report states he handed McGuirl’s weapons to the manager.

Authorities said they found M on her bike in the 500 block of Northwest Sixth Street.

The deputy wrote that he had encountered M and the victim from “an incident earlier in the morning.”

The report states M said “she was not at the tents and had no idea what is going on” and urinated on herself in the back of the squad car.

As of Thursday afternoon, she remained in BSO’s North Broward Bureau jail facility on charges of armed robbery and aggravated battery causing bodily harm.
