1 dead, 2 injured in motorcycle, pedestrian crash in Port Richey

One person died and two were seriously injured in a Sunday night crash on US-19, the Florida Highway Patrol announced.

According to FHP, around 7:55 p.m. a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 60-year-old man from Port Richey, was traveling northbound on US-19 north of Seward Drive when a pedestrian walking eastbound entered the path of the motorcycle and was hit.

The pedestrian, a 64-year-old Fort Myers Beach man, died at the scene of the crash.

Both the driver of the motorcycle and a passenger, a 41-year-old Port Richey woman, suffered serious injuries.
