A man is dead after a crash on Old US-41 and Channel 30 Drive in Bonita Springs Monday evening.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a 26-year-old Bonita Springs man is dead after a two-vehicle crash.
According to reports, the man was traveling north on Old US-41, south of Channel 30 Drive as another driver was traveling ahead of him.
The truck ahead of the victim, driven by a 53-year-old Naples man, slowed down to make a right turn onto Channel Drive.
Troopers say the man failed to slow down and hit the rear of the truck. FHP says he was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
