A person was hospitalized, and another was taken into custody after a shooting in Venice late Friday night.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office was called to the area of Fallow Road and East Baffin Drive at 11 p.m.
One person was shot and taken to the hospital. A person of interest was taken into custody.
