11-year-old girl, 31-year-old woman seriously injured in Santa Rosa County crash

An 11-year-old Alabama girl and a 31-year-old Pensacola woman were seriously injured in a crash Thursday morning in Santa Rosa County.

It happened around 9:55 a.m. on I-10 west at mile marker 39.

The crash involved only one vehicle — a pickup truck. The 31-year-old woman was driving, while the 11-year-old Florala, Alabama girl and 45-year-old Florala, Alabama woman were the passengers.

FHP states it was notified for a possible ejection.

Life Flight helicopters were called to assist in transports.

The injuries are not life threatening
