Rescuers responded to a fire that broke out on Sunday, leaving two people injured, one of them a Polk County Deputy.
Polk County Fire Rescuers responded to a call around 5:11 p.m. regarding a fire at 839 Knollwood Drive.
One person was injured and was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
A Polk County Deputy was also taken to the hospital for a minor injury to his hand and has since been released.
